What information is being collected? 

If you are just passing through and comparing my services to others, I don’t collect personal information that identifies you. If, as I hope you will, you have completed a contact form to find out more about my services, I will collect your name(s) and contact information and the relevant information about your ceremony.

How do I use your data? 

When someone visits my website I use two third party services, Google Analytics and WordPress, to collect standard internet log information. This gives me information about the number of visitors to the site which enables me to make improvements. I am not able to identify those visiting my website. Once I have received your initial enquiry I will contact you as requested. Should you decide to use my services, I have outlined how I store your data below. If for any reason you decide not to use my services I will delete your details from my inbox within 3 months of your enquiry; so please let me know if you have found a celebrant that meets your requirements elsewhere and I will delete your enquiry. 

Your information will not be shared with anyone without your permission.

Who is collecting your data?

Only me, via contact form submissions online or in person, phone call, email, or social media contact. If you book me for your ceremony, I will retain your information on spreadsheets on the cloud which can only be accessed by me. I will also ask you to read and sign some information regarding GDPR in your contract.

Why is this information being collected?

I need to retain some of your data to enable me to do my job. I need to be able to contact you and others at your request in the lead up to your big day, as we work together to create your ceremony. I take notes during our conversations and retain written information you share with me so that I can share your story, and create and deliver your bespoke ceremony, to share with all in attendance.

Use of Cookies

This website uses cookies - this is a technical term meaning ‘small text files that are placed on your computer by websites that you visit. They are widely used in order to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site’. If you send me a private or direct message via any of the social media platforms, I will store the message for three months. It will not be shared with anyone else.
