Our work as celebrants is all about celebrating people for who they are, but we have a long way to go before everyone is accepted, seen, and celebrated by society and, indeed, in the wedding industry.
Marriage inequalities, barriers to being recognised for who you are, institutional discrimination and a lack of accessible, inclusive spaces mean that we've got a lot of work to do before we achieve equality.
Everyone deserved to feel welcome, listened to, equally valued, and to be treated with respect. By working together, we can make the wedding industry a place where everyone truly belongs!
